What the city should do is this: It is obvious that fining you is not going to deter you or your young helpers from your holiday fun. The city should provide you with an alternative area, such as a park, where snowzilla can be made and crowds/cars would not be such a big issue. It could even be turned into an annual town event…look at the publicity it has received already!
Shannon Tyler

We have recently seen how corrupt the state of alaska is,,,,this is just another example.
he must not have put the money into the right hands.
Steve

Snowzilla Fines
Blockade the top of your street, charge $l.oo
per car to see snowzilla, then pay your fines
and move to a bigger place. Snow-Ho-Ho
Alison

Good Ole USA,
This year they tell you no snowman next year no CHRISTMAS TREE . Is the washington monument a public, hazard/nuisance ? I’d rather see 1,000 snowmen to that eyesore. GOD BLESS DEMOCRACY
Jacob Turner

That is sooooooooo cool! I wish we could do that here in NorCal, but it would have to be a lot colder that it is now. And boooooo on the grinches at the city council or whoever they are for not wanting Mr. Snowzilla around. May they all have lots of snowballs thrown at them!
Steve Kopp Snowzilla your’e the best, it’ll be great to see world wide pictures & support for the cheer snowmen & snowwomen bring to the ’season of goodwill’.
It reminds me when, many moons ago in my teens my brother & I made a ten foot snowman for the neighbours’ toddlers to enjoy, but it rolled down the drive onto the main road blocking rush hour traffic. No problem though, the local Police came to the rescue, directing the traffic until the snowman was rolled back up the hill, where he happily stayed 3 whole months after the snow melted.
PS The clue is: my father was the local Police Seargeant at the time! Linda Is Snowzilla the Real Issue?
I too think the building or not building of a snow man is a rediculous issue. If, however, safety and traffic congestion
are the real issues then that is what should be considered. If my home or someone in my home could not receive emergency
care because of “snow man traffic congestion” I would certainly look at this a different way. It’s easy to say , “Hurray
for the snowman” until a real problem happens. There should be a place where Snowzilla can be built without the connected
issues. Both sides are silly for not having resolved this already. I am just as disappointed with the City of Anchorage
as I am with everyone else’s mob mentality. Den

I think it was very thoughtful of Mr. Billy. Please dont fine him.
Best Wishes,
Christine

Merry Christmas, Snowzilla, the Powers Family, and Anchorage!
I am very grateful to you and Snowzilla for making this Christmas one full of laughter and joy for me and so many others. Anchorage needs Snowzilla during the dark, icy cold winters to beat the cabin fever and embody the spirit of the season. Don’t let some cease and desist order melt Snowzilla like some warm Chinook wind; he’ll melt naturally during spring
thaw in mid May/early June. (I remember those LONG winters) Fight the good fight and don’t let Snowzilla’s civil
rights melt away or let someone make yellow snow on his parade. You’ve brought such joy to so many. Happy Holidays!!
Greg. DHS ‘86

wow, thats one honking big snowman, i would love to see him in person, i live on a huge farm and snowzilla is welcome to
come appear here anytime, shame on all the scrooges in his neighbourhood, too bad children have to grow up and become
adults, and take all the fun out of snowmen
Mary

I think Palin should defend snowzilla if she ever has any future political aspirations, given that the mother of her
daughter’s boyfriend was just arrested for drug involvement, and now this mayor is giving Alaska an even worse rap.
Alaska was already a joke state, now this mayor is making anyone from there look even worse. Which includes Palin. Food
for political thought.
Nonya Bizniz

Suggest to the city whom are doing all the whining that they provide the enclosed facility and parking area and you folks
provide the labor to build and charge admission to exhibit the Snowzilla. Split or take all the profits of the admission
fee, the city would have no reason to complain either way as they will not have to pay the suppossable cost to maintain
public safety if the Snowzilla is in your front yard.
Here is the psychology behind this, you will get some money for something that you were going to do for free anyway and
the public outcry would be directed totally towards the city and it’s Bah Humbug attitude. Them not agreeing to your
suggestion will cost them in court defensive positioning.
Where does the goverment whom you elected come off disallowing display of a snowman. Totally rediculous.
Greg Perkins

Jerry Reed, the original Snowman from Smokey and the Bandit died this year. Isn’t that enough suffering?
Build him 40 feet tall next year!!
Little Papa I think the town is nuts!!
You have every right to build a snowman in your front yard Bill! The city should be ashamed of themselves for fining you
for having fun! The man on the video, said “I think it is him getting at his nieghbors” he is nuts too! that’s sad to
think that building a snowman can lead to fines and grumpy nieghbors!
In my town, it would be in the paper and everyone would welcome it!!
I’m sure glad I don’t live in yours, but I would like to have some snow to build a snowman, here in Indiana we haven’t
got enough to build one for about 2 years. so we are still waiting! If I get enough snow, I will make one as big as
Snowzilla!
Merry Christmas!
Take Care, and God Bless!! luvs2mksnowmen

Pardon
Seems to me that if Caribou Barbie can pardon a filthy turkey during the demise of other turkey brethren, then she can
definitely issue a pardon for a snowman.
Babaloo

Oh, how we would love a mini-snowman in Atlanta, GA…Oh, how I would love to see another blizzard like the ones in 1983
and 1993 or even a winter like 1972-73!!! Long live Snowzilla — he th’ man!!!!
Rachel Bowman

I AGREE WITH BILLY POWERS. SNOWZILLA IS MAGICAL. IF WE CAN’T ENJOY SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH THE WORLD IN SUCH CHAOS,
THEN WE ARE ALL SCROOGES. I THINK SNOWZILLA IS DELIGHTFUL AND BRINGS OUT THE JOY IN CHRISTMAS FOR YOUNG AND OLD.
I SUPPORT SNOWZILLA. WISH I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THIS WHEN MY KIDS WERE LITTLE. WE WOULD HAVE BUILT US A SNOWZILLA TOO.
FROM AN EAGLE RIVER RESIDENT
WE SUPPORT YOU BILLY.
Karen

Screw city hall and all the jerk offs that are making a big deal about this. Once again, public servants have forgotten
that they serve the public, not the other way around. Didn’t have any problem driving by last year!!! Maybe it is just
’snowman envy’ on Begich’s part? What’s the matter mayor, jealous that Powers’ snowman is bigger than yours?!?!?
Blackford Oakes VIVA la GIANT SNOWMAN! My grandkids are all far taller than I am now; being teens (all 3 of them!) they eat a great deal
so I affectionately call them my giants! I am known as giantlover! The “city ordinanaces” need to be changed; aren’t you
fed up with laws that TADA change whenever they feel like it including backdating some to “cover up the corruption?” The
“fines” golly gee willikers the Corps aren’t fined & if THEY are they don’t have to pay! Grand little scheme going on
here I think! To HECK with your fines! Me thinks THIS “government” is worse that the one that the USA originally had in
1776! YEA! let the revolution begin in every single way starting with the SNOWMAN! We can call it the SNOWMAN REVOLUTION! Katrina

Since when did snowmen become a political problem. People shouldn’t have to prove they are for or against a snowman, it’s
a SNOWMAN!! Snowzilla should only be put in good light. I love this story, very funny.
Moe Ramone

Only a reject would reject a snowman
Let me guess. The neighbor that complains is a lonely person who has no family or friends, no one really likes her/him
and he/she doesn’t get much interaction with others. The holiday season brings him/her down and he/she doesn’t want to
wallow in misery by him/herself so he/she tries to make everyone else miserable. Did I hit a bull’s eye?
I wrote a little email to the freaks at the Anchorage City Hall website, which someone on here posted a link to. I would
suggest anyone else who feels the same way do the same thing. Let the Anchorage officials hear just how much their
stupidity is recognized.
Good going Mr. Powers and family. No matter what the powers that be (no pun intended) try to tell you, or the nasty
socially challenged neighbor that complains, you should see how obvious it is that you DO spread joy with Mr. Snowman.
Merry Christmas and have a beautiful new year.
Jayne Thornqvist

Snowzilla is a fantastic atraction! Tell the city scrooges to stop being lazy and do their job! If they feel the
traffic is too dangerous, they should have someone out and protecting traffic. In our town, Turlock, Ca, we have a
couple of great attractions. The donation site has barrels for the city’s charatible organizations. If the city
official were smart, they’d protect the streets in the area and use your street as a drop off for things like Toys for
Tots, run through the local police station.
Maybe the city officials could use a heat lamp in their offices to ward off the scrooge in all of them!!
Evon Jones

What a great think to have in a town. We had a local artist do this in NY for many years. It created so much excitement
and joy. The heck with what the neighbors thing and the town. Who ever is doing it, keep it up.
Jodi

Snowzilla is a Symbol
Snowzilla is a symbol to Americans…we the people refuse to live under a fascist dictatorship…government officials can
put that in their corn cob pipe and smoke it!
I am thankful for people like you Billy, who refuse to be pushed around by small minded butt kissers. Wish more would
wake up from their sleepwalk. Keep on fighting for Snowzilla.

This snowman is what Christmas is all about! LEAVE THIS POOR MAN ALONE!This is Alaska more snow,BIGGER THE SNOWMAN!!GO
SNOWZILLA(YOU ROCK)Merry Christmas from, Terry in Scappoose Oregon.
Dennis

First, Alaska gave us the ignorant, nasty, ethically- and geographically-challenged Palin. Now it gives us Holiday Yard
Display Intolerance.
(Newsflash, Anchorage: every urban community in the country has traffic-clogging holiday displays. Rather than fine–and
create a bunch of ill-will, they MANAGE.)
Thanks to Palin and this story, I’m cancelling my plans to spend LOTS of tourist dollars in Alaska. Think I tather
spend it in the land of southern hospitality.
Southern Exposure

Hi this is just awesome,it is too bad you have town officals who don’t appreciate what people like to do during the
holidays,to spread cheer. With all the problems in todays society,it just makes no sense your town officals,if you want to
call them that can’t let people enjoy the season. It only last a couple of weeks,I guess your honor has no spirit,if was
in your yard, you would probably tear it down.Your honor do you let your family have fun!! Probably not what a scrooge
and idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn good thing you aren’t my mayor!!!!!!!!!So stick the ruling where the sun doesn’t shine.Of
course it only shines about 6 months out of the year!!!!!!!! Hope Santa gets stuck in your chimmny.
Bob

You’re neighbors SUCK! Next year maybe a 40 foot snowzilla will appear!!!
Scott in SC

Christmas lights are on display for all to see

Sally K. Davis

Yes, Powers family there is a Santa Claus. Since you have no knowledge of how Snowzilla appeared this year, maybe Santa
brought him because of the good cheer he brings to the world( except for a few). I propose that Snowzilla run for gov;
then the senate, and then for president. He would get my vote!!!!
Cheryl Good for you.
I grew up in the Vietnam War era sixties and still like to see a protest against “The Man”.
In this “Me first” world of war, greed, killing and tough economic times, it’s heartwarming to see some whimsical
disobedience. Perhaps if we were all a bit more “disobedient” to the powers that be and speaking our minds about what we
truly feel, this world would be a happier place.
How about a Snow-ScroogeZilla in the Mayor’s yard? That would be great.
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Safe New Year to all of you and SnowZilla too!
To the Mayor, as I know you’re monitoring the comments posted to this site, remember, you may be drinking SnowZilla in
the Spring. Jim

What a pile of crap…i think Snowzilla needs a big middle finger for the city government.
Kris Robb

Snowzilla, Miracle it is!
Just like the Red Sea being parted, amazingly snowzilla appears, at random, on Christmas holidays! By unexplained means,
it is a sign from above!, From the creater almighty! It should be an honor to wittnes such an apparation. Maybe people
with life threating illnesses should go and touch it for healing capabilities. Or better even, pack the condensed snow
(water) in little vials and sell it on e-bay! I would be happy to bid on it! It is such a fact that it appears
overnight, mysteriously…so no doubt in my mind, it is a miracle!..God Bless, I shall pray for Snowzilla..
Tyrone Shoelaces

There’s Time
I think there’s enough time to get President Bush to PARDON Snowzilla !!!!
Julie

It’s a good thing Snozilla didn’t show up at Point Waronzof or Evergreen Nursery. That could have raised another stink.
They could send some of the Troopers from Soldotna to direct traffic. This will give our lawmakers another stupid law to
enforce for more revenue for Anchorage.
Vicki M. Martin

Snowzilla Construction
How do you construct a SnowZilla this large? Can this be done with a small front end loader or was this constructed by
hand? Please advise so SnowZilla can make an appearance in Delaware (snow permitting). Thanks!
Brooks Cooley Where has the Christmas spirit gone? First everyone has to stop saying “Merry Christmas” and start saying “Happy
Holidays” in order to not offend anybody. This world is truly becoming a sad place and losing spirit in everything. Whats
next to be banned? Sled riding?! I should say this is THE most ridiculous and obsurd thing i have ever heard.. banning a
snowman. That snowman has put millions of smiles on childrens and adults faces. How dare anybody say that he must be
taken down. Hes made of freakin snow for christ sake( hope i didnt offend anybody by saying Christ)… I hope this does
go to court so the jury and the judge can laugh in these peoples faces who want to ban a snowman. Hell everybody should
go out in their front yard and build the biggest snowman possible and have a hell of a good tim with your family doing
it!! Merry Christmas all and God Bless Snowzilla!!! Samantha

I think it’s messed up that the mayor and city are such scrooges they have to pick on this guy for his snowman. they
should be fired for being jerks. he is only trying to lighten the season for others.
Missie

Down here in Florida I only wish we could have something like Snowzilla! It would look a lot better than seeing palm
trees with christmas lights in on them. Fight the power, next year we’ll all come up there and help you build him
bigger!!!
Eric- Cocoa Beach, FL

How the hell can a snowman be a public nuisance or a danger to society? Sounds like liberals trying to tell people how
to live.
Rusty

Sarah Palin should pardon Snowzilla every year as a state tradition.
David

I’m a Health and Safety officer in our town, and let me tell you I see nothing wrong with Snowzilla. He is behind a
fence,on your property. He is not on City easement. He is not supporting any Pornographic items or signs, not promoting
anything innappropriate. Tell them to Kiss off. I would love to have him here at my house. Keep building him every year.
Tammy Whiteside

Freedom for Snowzilla
Merry Christmas Powers Family!
I would love to have the email address of your mayor, city council, newspapaer and give them a piece of my mind!!
Our American freedom is quickly being taken away little by little and more and more lately…What ever happened to the
American thought of live and let live…neighbors accepting one another…I saw the size of the street it’s no ally!!
Here in NH there are homes that light up the sky with huge displays which draws traffic to the area from people wanting
to take in the beauty and excitment. They drive by slowly or they park!! Volunteers help with directing traffic etc.
It’s wonderful and expresses what the season is all about…loving others which often entails accepting things you may
not care for….your neighbors stink and have no spirit! Your local government is scrooge thru and thru. Sounds like
they’re just pissed about money they say you owe so they want to steal this enjoyment from everybody whose heart is
lifted from it.
Come build a snowman in NH anytime!!
Best of wishes for your New Year!
Long live snowzilla!! I’d even email the govenor for snowzilla!!
Christine

There are pros and cons here.
Snowzilla is awesome, a great way to show spirit, and it’s just fun and a fun story.
On the other hand, cars going up and down the street day and night just to see it would be a pretty big nuisance. That
alone would put children at risk for a lot of things. It’s the element that’s invited to see something like this. Sure, a
lot of people with Christmas spirit would be there, but what about the other people, who’ve had too much to drink and
wanna go see the big snowman?
Also I do agree with the person who said it could be dangerous. Snowzilla is right next to the street, he could start
melting and his head could slide right off on someone.
It sounds like the last thing you need is to be sued by someone for any number of reasons that can arise from this, kid
got hurt, car hit a kid because they were looking at the snowman and not the road, etc.
I think you should keep building Snowzilla, but maybe put it in your backyard next year, where it can’t be seen from the
road, and put a small fence around it, to protect children and yourself.
Susan

The government licks…peanuts!!!
if u built your snowman on your own property the pissants for a government shouldnt have a say about it. its YOUR
property.plus i bet it would put a big smile on the kids faces…all 7 of them…Merry Christmas!!!
Louis

Hello there,my name is Terrance Cookney from Hamilton,Ontario,Canada.Snowzilla is the most awesome snowman I have ever
seen.Congradulations!!!! In my younger years,I have made some pretty cool snowmen and the best thing about all this,it’s
winter time fun for all.Frosty the Snowman represents the time of year and heart felt fantasy for all ages.
In the news article, which truly caught my eye,was the fact of legal action, to destroy this beautiful piece of nature’s
art and the joy of children of all ages that created it,is a block of personal freedom of creativity. So closed minded are
the ones who cannot see the smiles of happiness.
Regards and a Very Merry Christmas to you all.
Terrance Cookney Snowzilla is awesome! Isn’t the city interferring with somebody’s rights. After all the man does own the property. Sounds
like the city is harrassing Mr. Powers with everything they can. A person has a right to build a snowman on their
property. If you let the city take that from a person then what is next…whether you can have a porch light??? I say go
Mr. Powers & fight back.
All the way from Texas, JH

Lighten Up!
People (ie - politicians) need to lighten up! They should be capitalizing on this…maybe have the Annual Anchorage
Snowzillafest, or market Anchorage globally as the home of Snowzilla! Perhaps they could make a marketing deal with
Billy Powers, and have him build an even bigger one in a more easily accesible place. Good luck from a Canadian
(Ontario) supporter!!!
Bradley J. Bell

Years ago we made a giant! It made the local news. But, it was well recieved.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TevwKZe0sFU
Check it out! It was just fun for the neighborhood!
Dont let them cut your Snowballs off.
Blaine

I Am Behind You All The Way
I am sorry that I cannot send a donation, but I am behind. There should be a way that they could deal with the traffic
problems this causes. I have seen neighborhoods in cities that go all out decorating their yards, and they seem to be
able to accommodate the traffic. Sounds to me like there are a lot of grinches in the neighborhood. Keep up the good
work.
Lyle Frederick

We love Snowzilla
Good for you Billy! Merry Xmas!
David H. Hayes, david.hayes@lilisoft.com

Shocked
I am sitting here on Christmas morning just surfing the net and low and behold I find the cutest picture of a giant
snowman.
Then to read the place of Ancorage Alaska thinks it is a hazard …how silly is that?
I live in a small town in a snow belt in Southern Ontario Canada. We have tonnes of snow and tonnes of Snowmen in our
fair town that children have built. Snowmen, Snow, Children and smiles are just part of Christmas and Winter.
Keep your Snowman built. He is beautiful and put a huge smile on my face.
Cathy Choma

(I just sent this to the mayors office of Anchorage Alaska, and I hope it helps, Merry Christmas!!!)
I would like to show my support for Snowzilla.
I am a long way from Alaska in a place where a dusting of snow for the winter is all we can expect.
The news of snowzilla has reached us down here and probably soon all over the country and world.
I can understand some traffic and safety issues with snowzilla and would like to address them.
I think the town can help this become a safe and enjoyable attraction for everyone.
One. Operating hours. Publish a set time to visit the sculpture. and anyone in the area after those hours must live
there.
Two. Shuttle visitors from a parking lot, let them pose for pictures for a few minutes and shuttle them back. A minor
fee can obviously be charged for this.
Three. Safety. People build ice sculptures that you can walk through without a problem. There should be a way to make
this safe, including signs with no climbing etc.
Please, let us remember the spirit of christmas and work towards helping each other get through this special and magical
moment.
Thank you for taking the time to listen.
God bless and Merry Christmas
The Jackson Family

Support Snowzilla, send an email to the mayor!!!!
http://www.ci.anchorage.ak.us/Feedback/mayorfeed.html
Above is the link to the mayor’s office in Anchorage Alaska, let’s show him that we have the Christmas Spirit and support
Snowzilla.
Snowzilla can be viewed safely with the help of the town, not the hinderance. What about shuttle parking and having
operating hours?
I hope this helps and please no rude or ugly comments to the mayor. If he sees how much support is behind snowzilla he
will have to take that into consideration!!!!
Good luck, God Bless to all and a very Merry Christmas!!!!
The Jackson Family, Holly Springs, NC

Support from Boston
You keep the snowman growing! What a fun thing for kids of all ages to enjoy. Bah Humbug to those who can’t seem to
find any holiday spirit in their hearts.

Defenders at City Hall
Dear Snowzilla lovers,
We, the snowman defenders of Snowzilla, are laying siege upon the entrance of City Hall. Come see us with all our
pickets. We will be heard!!!
Snowzilla Defenders

I hope everything works out for you. Merry Christmas!!!
Laura Bennett

Kudos to you!!!!!
I just want to say, keep doing what you are doing! People forget what the spirit of the season is all about. All that
matters is that it’s for the kids. Keep it up, and I hope to see Snowzilla again next year. Good luck and Merry
Christmas!
Laura Lecceardone I know from personal experience that city ordinances and laws can be a pain!! I hope to own a piece of property in the
“sticks” where I can do as I please without neighbors belly-aching!
Snowzilla is AWESOME!! If Snowzilla isn’t too far from an area where cars could be parked people could walk in and see
him. Then there wouldn’t be complaining about car traffic, pollution, or car noise. As for concerns about the safety of
Snowzilla. Considering how large the bottom is there is no way he can fall over. The upper part would melt to the bottom
and the whole thing would become a soft snowy slushy mess eventually disappearing completely. It’s not like one day the
weather will suddenly warm up and Snowzilla will suddenly melt flooding the street. This is all snow that was taken from
nearby yards so the water runoff will be the same as if the snow were never moved.
As is the case where I live, the problem is someone in the neighborhood complaining and then the city finds out and
starts making threats and possibly fines. This could get really ugly if the city comes up with a way to seize the house
for outstanding fines or some unpaid tax or debt. When someone makes the government angry they’ll find a way to make you
pay or get back at you. Watch your back and make sure all taxes and other accounts are paid in full. Example: I live in
Pierce County, Washington State and it’s perfectly clear on our sewer bill that unpaid accounts can result in a lien
being placed on a property.
Next year Snowzilla should bring his wife and kids to visit. I say 25 foot should be the minimum height for the kids. Go
big, or go home is my motto!! Denny Lakewood, WA

In Milwaukee, we have a whole neighborhood that goes beyond the norm to decorate their houses to benefit the Macc Fund.
People come from miles around to visit the neighborhood coined Candy Cane Lane. The traffic is horrible, but we put up
with it a few weeks out of every year because it is the spirit of the season. Things like Snowzilla or Candy Cane Lane
are great. In my opinion, the complainers should be told to mind their own business. These local governments have too
much power when it comes to private property rights. It is reasonable to let Billy have the snowman on his own private
property for a few weeks out of the year. If Billy is building the snowman to get back at his neighbors as the guy from
the city said, then more power to him! Neighbors that complain about anything and everything are miserable human beings
that don’t have anything better to do with their lives.
Ben Richie

How cool! Ya know, up in Alaska anyone can be involved in city politics, just looks at me, Sarah Palin! I’m a stupid
moron and yet everyone loves me.
Sarah p. Ailin I find it very hard to believe that in this day and age that any municipal government would take more time and more mony
to take Christmas joy out of Alaska’s or America’s heart. With all the unemployment and other problems in this country and
likewise Alaska, would single out a citizen of out country.Just to extort more money from an already over taxed and under
paid citizens.Even 4000 miles away your actions are atracting worldwide attention.Looking at the photographs and seeing
the wide base of the “snowzilla” has about as much chance of falling over as the Pyrmids in Egypt.Which lasted more then
a few monthes in the hot desert under a hoter sun.I think it is YOU that are more dangerous then any pile of snow.
LONG LIVE SNOWZILLA Michael Shongo

This is the stupidest thing I have heard of. I live in Chicago and people decorate thier homes and the news shows show
them on TV and have contests. Folks drive thier kids around and look at these different homes. Where is the holiday or
seasonal spirit. I have traveled Alaska on my motorcycle and noticed there are not that many people or roads how can one
snowzilla cause so much traffic flow problems? Stand your ground!
Christina Arnold OK so I first read about this the other day on AOl and it inspired me to Blog about how a small handful of people can
ruin a good fun thing. That can be found here
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=118332379&blogID=458632257
Then I read today on Christmas morning at 4am that Snowzilla is back…All I gotta say is GOOD! The thing is a work of
art in my opinion and it is horrible for something other than the weather to get rid of it. If it brings joy to the
children and most of the adults who see it then it should be allowed. Honestly a snowman is not an little thing thats
just gonna fall over on someone…especially when it is built like Snowzilla. I used to live in PA and made snowmen all
the time…when it melts the smaller head melts first and then down…even when we are talking about such a huge snow
pile that type of melting isn’t going to cause damage. Now I am in Florida and we don’t get snow and while I don’t miss
the snow much I have to admit that if we were to get snow I would try to make my own snowzilla thats how much these
pictures have inspired me. Congrats to all that helped rebuild him and please don’t let the city win on this one!!!
(My newest blog after finding out that snowzilla lives:

Billy, I sincerely like what you’ve created. Please disregard your petty neighbors and continue your good deeds
Liza Snowzilla was the theme on the local Kenai Peninsula talk show ‘Sound Off’ Wednesday. All callers were in favor of
keeping him/her. One caller remarked that it was strange that the North Pole and Santa were here in Alaska - AND THE
GRINCH,TOO…being the officious,OFFENSIVE ‘public servants’ who want Snowzilla to be banished.
Fish and Game wants to banish little kitty cats and Anchorage officials want to banish Snowzilla. DON’T THOSE PEOPLE HAVE
ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?
Seems like they have WAY too much money and time to devote so much attention to harmless issues… maybe they need a
budget cut?
I hope the little elves that built Snowzilla in the dark of night, return next year, too!
And F&G needs to spend more time going after people that fib on their licenses- instead of harmless little kitty cats. Joalaska

Sounds to me like a case of Snowman envy.
