Snowzilla in Victoria, BC. We woke up on the morning of December 23rd with a huge dump of snow in Victoria, BC. Later that day, some one or some group constructed a 7-foot-tall Snow Giant in the field next door. We had no choice but to construct an 8-foot-tall Snow Giant to show that we were not intimidated. I Googled "how to build a giant snow man" and probably 18 of the top 20 hits were about Snowzilla in Alaska. That was one impressive Snow Giant! So taking inspiration from Mr. Powers, but lacking a crane and a army of neighborhood kids, we were resigned to an 8-foot-tall version. The snow wasn't rolling well for us so he is a packed mountain -- sort of Jabba the Hut meet Frosty. We gave him a moustache and called him Mr. Belvedere. Canada supports SnowZilla!
